Jesus Loves You!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Today, there are lots of evil and suffering all over the world, with many living without any form of hope for a better life. A common question in the mind of many is whether there is still a God that loves and cares for humanity.
Evil came into the world because man chooses to disobey God and sin against Him. Sin is therefore the root cause of all the evil, suffering, wickedness, curses and pain in the world today. Unfortunately, if the issue of sin is not dealt with, this suffering will continue in greater dimension in Hell and finally in the Lake of Fire ‘that burneth with brimestone’. Beloved, Hell is real but not a place to go to, not even a place to wish your worst enemy. The suffering, pains and torment of hell will last forever and ever. You must do all you can to escape Hell.
Our text above said God loves you and does not want you to perish in hell. So in love, He sent his only begotten son to come and die for you and me. Yes, He loves you, knows all you are going through today, even your name and house address. He desires that you be saved and escape the damnation and punishment of eternity in hell. All he wants is for you to come to him today in response to this love. Wouldn’t you respond to this great love?
You can do so by praying this prayer: “Lord Jesus, I come to you today. I believe you came and died for my sins. Today, I surrender my life to you. Please forgive me all my sins, wash me by your blood, and be my Lord and Saviour. Thank you for saving me. Amen!”
If you pray this prayer and you meant it, then you are now a child of God (John 1: 12). You need to get a Bible and read it daily, and also take time to pray to God and avoid every form of sin. Locate a Bible believing church around you to attend regularly.

Prepare to Meet Thy God

“Therefore, thus will I do unto thee, O Israel; and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel”. Amos 4: 12
People always prepare for very important events in their lives like Examination, marriage, birthday party, having a baby, becoming a professional (eg Footballer, Lawyer, Doctor etc). It is a known fact that if you fail to prepare or plan well, then you have already booked a date with failure. There is an important area of our lives that we all need to prepare for. It is to meet God, our creator and for where we will spend our eternity.
In our text above, God told Israel to prepare to meet with their God. Beloved, it is unfortunate that most people are living for themselves, completely unawares and unprepared for the fact that they will die one day and will be face to face with their maker. They forget or neglect to give attention to the life after now. The most you can live here on earth is about 120 years, if God spares your life. But once you die, eternity begins, and after you have spent, say 120 billion years, eternity would just have begun. Beloved, it is therefore wisdom to use these brief years of ours on earth to prepare for our eternity.
Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh to the father, but by me (John 14:6). Beloved, you need to surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ to be your Lord and savior Today. And if you are already a church goer, then you must rededicate yourself to God in Holiness to ensure your life pleases him, for ‘without Holiness, no man shall see the Lord’ (Heb. 12:14b)

What is Revival?

download

The greatest need of the world today is a mighty manifestation of the Spirit of God in revival power. ‘Revival’ is when God reveals Himself in awesome holiness and irresistible power. It is when He visits the world of men to impart a fresh vision of His glory and grace and simultaneously to reveal man’s sinfulness, inadequacy and desperate need of God’s mercy. During times of revival God’s people are restored from backsliding, carelessness and inactivity. They become preoccupied with the things of God. They become intensely prayerful, attending God’s house more frequently for fellowship and worship. They develop a hunger for the preached word which illuminates and powerfully penetrates the hearts of it’s hearers, bringing conviction and response. Believers develop a passion for souls and become deeply concerned about the spiritual welfare of the lost.

Consequently, during times of revival, Gospel preaching takes on a new prominence and multitudes become converted. Sometimes powerful anointings of God’s Spirit produce physical manifestations such as deep conviction, tears, crying out, bodily prostrations, trembling, violent shaking or laughter.

The results of true revival are equally spectacular. The normal traits of ungodliness disappear. Blasphemy and filthy language, drunkenness and immorality, dishonesty and selfishness are all replaced by a sweet sense of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Sometimes entire towns or areas are affected. At other times whole nations are so blanketed with God’s renewing activity that hardly any inhabited places are without some evidence of His glorious workings.

Revivals usually occur after a prolonged spiritual and moral decline. By definition a ‘revival’ requires a state of death, neglect or loss. This has always been true historically. The church becomes apathetic to its master, its morals and its mission. It loses its zeal and becomes ineffective. Its worship becomes dull and uneventful and its membership declines. It needs to be ‘revived’ occasionally, for it’s own sake.

“It is most significant that since the Reformation revivals have recurred with increasing frequency. Again and again God has rescued that which had gone beyond all human aid: what could have saved the church but these gracious interventions of almighty power? The need can but grow more urgent as the age draws to its close.”

M. Panton – quoted by Arthur Wallis In The Day of Thy Power p24

The church also needs to be revived to achieve her mission. A dead church will never fulfil the Great Commission to invade the world with the life-saving Gospel.
“The quiet conversion of one sinner after another, under the ordinary ministry of the gospel must always be regarded with feeling of satisfaction and gratitude. …but a periodic manifestation of the simultaneous conversion of thousands is also to be desired, because of its adaptation to afford a visible and impressive demonstration that God has made that same Jesus, who was rejected and crucified, both Lord and Christ”.

William Reid, quoted by Arthur Wallis, In the Day of Thy Power p44

Revival, then, is what the church and the world needs. And revival is just what God wants to give. He is not unwilling to open the heavens and send us ‘times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.’ Indeed, it is true to say that seasons of revival have always been the major means that God has employed to advance His cause and the cause of the church in the world.

“Though there be a more constant influence of God’s Spirit always, in some degree, attending His ordinances; yet the way in which the greatest things have been done towards carrying on this work, always has been by remarkable effusions of the Spirit at special seasons of mercy…”

Jonathan Edwards, History of Redemption p30

The Hebrides Revival 2

Hebride 2

Off the west coast of Scotland is a small group of islands called the Hebrides. Between 1949 and 1952 a wide spread revival swept through these islands in answer to the prayers of God’s people. Instrumental in this revival was the evangelist Duncan Campbell. He came to the Isle of Lewis to conduct a two week evangelistic campaign and ended up staying two years. The following accounts are testimonies of the power of intercessory prayer during this mighty move of God.

Peggy & Christine Smith: They Prayed A Promise

In a small cottage by the roadside in the village of Barvas lived two elderly women, Peggy and Christine Smith. They were eighty-four and eighty-two years old. Peggy was blind and her sister almost bent double with arthritis. Unable to attend public worship, their humble cottage became a sanctuary where they met with God. To them came the promise: “I will pour water upon him that is thirsty and floods upon the dry ground,” they pleaded this day and night in prayer. One night Peggy had a revelation, revival was coming and the church of her fathers would be crowded again with young people! She sent for the minister, the Rev. James Murray MacKay, and told him what God had shown her, asking him to call his elders and deacons together for special times of waiting upon God. In the same district a group of men praying in a barn experienced a foretaste of coming blessing. One night as they waited upon God a young deacon rose and read part of the twenty-fourth Psalm: “Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord.” Turning to the others he said: “Brethren, it seems to me just so much humbug to be waiting and praying as we are, if we ourselves are not rightly related to God.” Then lifting his hands toward heaven he cried: “Oh God, are my hands clean? Is my heart pure?” He got no further, but fell prostrate to the floor. An awareness of God filled the barn and a stream of supernatural power was let lose in their lives. They had moved into a new sphere of God realization, believing implicitly in the promise of revival.

But before leaving Peggy and her sister, another story must be told which further illustrates the holy intimacy of this woman with her Lord. When the movement was at its height Peggy sent for Duncan, asking him to go to a small, isolated village to hold a meeting. The people of this village did not favor the revival and had already made clear their policy of noninvolvement. Duncan explained the situation to Peggy and told her that he questioned the wisdom of her request. “Besides,” he added, “I have no leadings to go to that place.” She turned in the direction of his voice, her sightless eyes seemed to penetrate his soul. “Mr. Campbell, if you were living as near to God as you ought to be, He would reveal His secrets to you also.” Duncan felt like a subordinate being reprimanded for defying his general. He humbly accepted the rebuke as from the Lord, and asked if he and Mr. MacKay could spend the morning in prayer with them. She agreed, and later as they knelt together in the cottage, Peggy prayed: “Lord, You remember what You told me this morning, that in this village You are going to save seven men who will become pillars in the church of my fathers. Lord, I have given Your message to Mr. Campbell and it seems he is not prepared to receive it. Oh Lord, give him wisdom, because he badly needs it!” “All right, Peggy, I’ll go to the village,” said Duncan when they had finished praying. She replied, “You’d better!” “And God will give you a congregation.” Arriving in the village at seven o’clock they found a large bungalow crowded to capacity with many assembled outside. Duncan gave out his text: “The times of this ignorance God winked at, but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.” When he had finished preaching, a minister beckoned him to the end of the house to speak again to a number of people who were mourning over their sins – among them, Peggy’s seven men!

John: He Challenged God in Prayer

Opposition to the revival was being raised in other parts of the island. An evening was given to waiting upon God in the home of an elder. Around midnight Duncan turned to the local blacksmith: “John, I feel the time has come for you to pray.” With his cap in his hand John rose to pray, and in the middle of his prayer he paused, raised his right hand to heaven, and said: “Oh God, You made a promise to pour water upon him that is thirsty and floods upon the dry ground, and, Lord, it’s not happening.” He paused again and then continued: “Lord, I don’t know how the others here stand in Your presence; I don’t know how the ministers stand, but, Lord, if I know anything about my own heart I stand before Thee as an empty vessel, thirsting for Thee and for a manifestation of Thy power.” He halted again and after a moment of tense silence cried: “Oh God, Your honor is at stake, and I now challenge You to fulfil your covenant engagement and do what you have promised to do.” Many who were present witnessed that at that moment the house shook. Dishes rattled in the sideboard, as wave after wave of Divine power swept through the building. A minister standing beside Duncan turned and said: “Mr. Campbell, an earth tremor!” But Duncan’s mind, however, was in the fourth chapter of Acts, where the early Christians were gathered in prayer and, we read: “When they had prayed the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost.”

Donald: The Boy Who Prayed

Among those converted the following night was a fifteen-year-old boy who became an outstanding helper in the revival. This lad became a “frontline” prayer-warrior. Duncan called at his home one day and found him on his knees in the barn with the Bible open before him. When interrupted he quietly said: “Excuse me a little, Mr. Campbell, I’m having an audience with the King.” Some of the most vivid outpourings of the Spirit during the revival came when he was asked to pray. In the police station in Barvas he stood up one night, simply clasped his hands together, and uttered one word – “Father.” Everyone was melted to tears as the Presence of God invaded the house. In Callenish, he prayed until the power of God laid hold on those who were dead in sins transforming them into living stones in the Church of Jesus Christ. But the most outstanding example of God’s anointing upon him was in Bernera, a small island off the coast of Lewis. Duncan was assisting at a Communion service; the atmosphere was heavy and preaching difficult, so he sent to Barvas for some of the men to come and assist in prayer. They prayed, but the spiritual bondage persisted, so much so that half way through his address Duncan stopped preaching. Just then he noticed this boy, visibly moved, under deep burden for souls. He thought: “That boy is in touch with God and living nearer to the Savior than I am.” So leaning over the pulpit he said: “Donald, will you lead us in prayer?” The lad rose to his feet and in his prayer made reference to the fourth chapter of Revelation, which he had been reading that morning: “Oh God, I seem to be gazing through the open door. I see the Lamb in the midst of the Throne, with the keys of death and of hell at His girdle.” He began to sob; then lifting his eyes toward heaven, cried: “O God, there is power there, let it loose!” With the force of a hurricane the Spirit of God swept into the building and the floodgates of heaven opened. The church resembled a battlefield. On one side many were prostrated over the seats weeping and sighing; on the other side some were affected by throwing their arms in the air in a rigid posture. God had come!

She Saw A Vision

God communicated to Peter His purpose to bless the household of Cornelius by means of a vision in a trance when His servant was praying. He used similar methods in Lewis. A young woman in particular repeatedly went into trances, in which she received messages concerning those in need which were passed on to Duncan. One night he was staying in Stornoway when this girl saw in a vision a woman in agony of soul twenty miles away. Duncan was informed that he ought to go and see her, and without any thought for his own rest or safety he motorcycled to the village and found it exactly as he had been told. The word he spoke brought deliverance, and introduced the troubled lady to the Savior. Not one message given by this girl through her trance-visions proved false. This was an aspect of the work which Duncan did not attempt to encourage or explain, but he recognized it was of God and refused to interfere with it, warning those who would associate it with satanic activity, that they were coming perilously near to committing the unpardonable sin.

The Praying Butcher

Duncan never left the island without visiting the praying men, who had meant so much to him in the revival, and with whom he had such affinity of spirit. He marveled at their discernment and worldwide vision in this far northwestern island. Calling to see one of them he arrived at the house to hear him in the barn praying for Greece. He could not understand what interest a butcher in Lewis could have in Greece. “How did you come to be praying for Greece today?”, he asked him later. “Do you know where Greece is?” “No, Mr. Campbell, but God knows, and He told me this morning to pray for Greece!” Two years later Duncan was introduced to a man in Dublin who told him the following story. He had gone to Greece on a business trip and was asked to speak to an assembly of Christians. The Spirit of God worked so powerfully that he continued preaching for a few weeks and phoned his brother in Ireland with instructions to look after the business until he returned. Duncan compared dates and discovered that the movement in Greece began on the same day that the butcher was praying in Bravas!

The price for heaven sent revival has never changed. Before the floods of Holy Ghost conviction could sweep across the Isles of The Hebrides, strong men were broken before God, travailing in agony of prayer through the long hours of the night for months. To do this, in spite of the demands of home and work, these men had to make time for waiting before God! This is perhaps the greatest problem besetting us today. We have all the modern luxuries of life to make work easier and yet we cannot make time to pray! What a tragic paradox! Dr. Wilbur Smith very aptly stated the matter when he said: “I never get time to pray – I’ve always got to make it!”

The Hebrides Revival 1

(Narrated by Duncan Campbell)

There are two things that I would like to say in speaking about the revival in the Hebrides. First, I would like to make it perfectly clear that I did not bring revival to the Hebrides. It has grieved me beyond words to hear people talk and write about the man who brought revival to the Hebrides. My dear people, I didn’t do that. Revival was there before I ever set foot on the island. It began in a gracious awareness of God sweeping through the parish of Barvas.
Then I would like to make it perfectly clear what I understand of revival. When I speak of revival, I am not thinking of high-pressure evangelism. I am not thinking of crusades or of special efforts convened and organized by man. That is not in my mind at all.
Revival is something altogether different from evangelism on its highest level. Revival is a moving of God in the community and suddenly the community becomes God conscious before a word is said by any man representing any special effort. Now I am sure that you will be interested to know how, in November 1949, this gracious movement began on the island of Lewis. Two old women, one of them 84 years of age and the other 82 – one of them stone blind, were greatly burdened because of the appalling state of their own parish. It was true that not a single young person attended public worship. Not a single young man or young woman went to the church. And those two women were greatly concerned and they made it a special matter of prayer.
A verse gripped them: “I will pour water on him that is thirsty and floods upon the dry ground.” They were so burdened that both of them decided to spend so much time in prayer twice a week. On Tuesday they got on their knees at 10 o’clock in the evening and remained on their knees until 3 or 4 o’clock in the morning – two old women in a very humble cottage. One night, one of the sisters had a vision. Now remember, in revival, God works in wonderful ways. A vision came to one of them, and in the vision she saw the church of her fathers crowded with young people. Packed to the doors. And a strange minister standing in the pulpit. And she was so impressed by the vision that she sent for the parish minister. And of course he knowing the two sisters, knowing that they were two women who knew God in a wonderful way, he responded to their invitation and called at the cottage.
That morning, one of the sisters said to the minister, “You must do something about it. And I would suggest that you call your office bearers together and that you spend with us at least two nights in prayer in the week. Tuesday and Friday if you gather your elders together, you can meet in a barn-a farming community, you can meet in a barn-and as you pray there, we will pray here. Well, that was what happened, the minister called his office bearers together and seven of them met in a barn to pray on Tuesday and on Friday. And the two old women got on their knees and prayed with them.
Well that continued for some weeks–indeed, I believe almost a month and a half. Until one night– now this is what I am anxious for you to get ahold of – one night they were kneeling there in the barn, pleading this promise, “I will pour water on him that is thirsty, floods upon the dry ground” when one young man, a deacon in the church, got up and read Psalm 24. “Who shall ascend the hill of God? Who shall stand in His holy place? He that has clean hands and a pure heart who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity or sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing (not a blessing, but THE blessing) of the Lord.” And then that young man closed his Bible. And looking down at the minister and the other office bearers, he said this – maybe crude words, but perhaps not so crude in our Gaelic language – he said, “It seems to me to be so much humbug to be praying as we are praying, to be waiting as we are waiting, if we ourselves are not rightly related to God.” And then he lifted his two hands – and I’m telling you just as the minister told me it happened – he lifted his two hands and prayed, “God, are my hands clean? Is my heart pure?” But he got no further. That young man fell to his knees and then fell into a trance.
Now don’t ask me to explain this because I can’t. He fell into a trance and is now lying on the floor of the barn. And in the words of the minister, at that moment, he and his other office bearers were gripped by the conviction that a God-sent revival must ever be related to holiness, must ever be related to Godliness. Are my hands clean? Is my heart pure? The man that God will trust with revival – that was the conviction.
When that happened in the barn, the power of God swept into the parish. And an awareness of God gripped the community such as hadn’t been known for over 100 years. An awareness of God – that’s revival, that’s revival. And on the following day, the looms were silent, little work was done on the farms as men and women gave themselves to thinking on eternal things, gripped by eternal realities.
Now, I wasn’t on the island when that happened. But, again, one of the sisters sent for the minister. And she said to him, “I think you ought to invite someone to the parish. I cannot give a name, but God must have someone in His mind for we saw a strange man in the pulpit, and that man must be somewhere.” Well, the minister that week was going to one of our great conventions in Scotland. At that convention he met a young man who was a student in college and knowing that this young man was a God-fearing man, a man with a message, he invited him to the island. “Won’t you come for 10 days – a 10-day special effort? We have had so many of them over the past couple of years, but we feel that something is happening in the parish and we would like you to attend.”
This minister said, “No, I don’t feel that I am the man, but quite recently there has been a very remarkable move in Glasgow under the ministry of a man by the name of Campbell. I would suggest that you send for him.” Now at that time I was in a college in Edinburgh. It wasn’t very easy for me to leave but it was decided that I should go for 10 days. I was on the island within 10 days.
I shall never forget the night that I arrived… We got to the church about quarter to nine to find about 300 people gathered. I would say about 300 people. And I gave an address. Nothing really happened during the service. It was a good meeting. A sense of God, a consciousness of His Spirit moving but nothing beyond that. So I pronounced the benediction and we were leaving the church I would
say about a quarter to eleven.
Just as I am walking down the aisle, along with this young deacon who read the Psalm in the barn. He suddenly stood in the aisle and looking up to the heavens he said, “God, You can’t fail us. God, You can’t fail us. You promised to pour water on the thirsty and floods upon the dry ground – God, You can’t fail us!”
Soon He is on his knees in the aisle and he is still praying and then he falls into a trance again. Just then the door opened–it is now eleven o’clock. The door of the church opens and the local blacksmith comes back into the church and says, “Mr. Campbell, something wonderful has happened. Oh, we were praying that God would pour water on the thirsty and floods upon the dry ground and listen, He’s done it! He’s done it!”
When I went to the door of the church I saw a congregation of approximately 600 people. Six hundred people–where had they come from? What had happened? I believe that that very night God swept in in Pentecostal power – the power of the Holy Ghost. And what happened in the early days of the apostles was happening now in the parish of Barvas.
Over 100 young people were at the dance in the parish hall and they weren’t thinking of God or eternity. God was not in all of their thoughts. They were there to have a good night when suddenly the power of God fell upon the dance. The music ceased and in a matter of minutes, the hall was empty. They fled from the hall as a man fleeing from a plague. And they made for the church. They are now standing outside. Oh, yes – they saw lights in the church. That was a house of God and they were going to it and they went. Men and women who had gone to bed rose, dressed, and made for the church. Nothing in the way of publicity… But God took the situation in hand – oh, He became His own publicity agent. A hunger and a thirst gripped the people. 600 of them now are at the church standing outside… And then the doors were opened and the congregation flocked back into the church.
Now the church is crowded–a church to seat over 800 is now packed to capacity. It is now going on towards midnight. I managed to make my way through the crowd along the aisle toward the pulpit. I found a young woman, a teacher in the grammar school, lying prostrate on the floor of the pulpit praying, “Oh, God, is there mercy for me? Oh, God, is there mercy for me? ” She was one of those at the dance. But she is now lying on the floor of the pulpit crying to God for mercy.
That meeting continued until 4 o’clock in the morning. So we left them there, and just as I was leaving the church, a young man came to me and said, “Mr. Campbell, I would like you to go to the police station.” I said, “The police station? What’s wrong?” “Oh,” he said, “There’s nothing wrong but there must be at least 400 people gathered around the police station just now.”
Now the sergeant there was a God-fearing man. He was in the meeting. But people knew that this was a house that feared God. And next to the police station was the cottage in which the two old women lived. I believe that that had something to do with the magnet, the power that drew men. There was a coach load at that meeting. A coach load had come over 12 miles to be there. Now if anyone would ask them today, why? How did it happen? Who arranged it? They couldn’t tell you. But they found themselves grouping together and someone saying, “What about going to Barvas? I don’t know, but I have a hunger in my heart to go there.” I can’t explain it; they couldn’t explain it, but God had the situation in hand.
This is revival dear people! This is a sovereign act of God! This is the moving of God’s Spirit, I believe in answer to the prevailing prayer of men and women who believed that God was a covenant-keeping God but must be true to His covenant engagement…
That continued for almost 3 years. Until the whole of the island was swept by the mighty power of God.

A touching Message from Bro Gbile Akanni.

This message blessed my life and I will like to share it with you. God bless you as you read.

In one of the Assemblies of God churches, in Aba District, where my late dad pastored in the 1980s, I remember when a young man came very early in the morning and told my father:

“Pastor, what did I do to you? Why do you hate me so much? I have been born again for almost 1 year and I have won many people to Christ, but why have you not recommended me to join others to go for missions work in the northern States of the country… ”

His singlet was torn… And with his zeal, he was crying profusely…

My father did not know what to say…
The young man kept crying:” Pastor, why are you doing this to me… Why are you doing this to me? ”

My father told him: “Nna, I know very well that you want to serve God… But you are the only son of your mother and your father is late… If anything happens to you, who will look after your mother and younger ones?…

The boy started crying the more…
“Pastor, I am the only son and yet I was an arm robber… I am the only son, yet, I was attending meetings in the midnight with native doctors, where many of friends could not wake up alive after diabolically fortifying ourselves against police bullets… ”

” Pastor, what would have happened to my mother if I had died in one of those armed robbery attacks? Who would have taken care of her? If I risked my life when I was serving Satan, why will I not risk it now that I am serving Jesus Christ? ”

My father was speechless for almost 30minutes… And it was not long, we saw tears rolling down his eyes…
He held the young man and both of them were crying together…
How can I forget such scenes that God allowed to play out before my eyes? …

My father recommended him to join some missionaries that came in the area for missions work…
The day he was leaving with them, the mother and his younger ones were crying… Knowing that they might not see him again, both live or dead… But I can still remember that excitement on his face…

Lord, how can I forget?

Brother, let us go to our Bible schools and listen to the conversation of those young men and women who have joined ministry and you will know that many of them have no single passion for the lost…

They are just getting ready to rent halls in the city where they will be rolling out posters and handbills, laying greedy hands on people, collecting offering and tithe…
That’s all in their hearts…

Congratulations for your big auditorium…
I am happy for your 10th time services…
But if heaven cannot find such men in your church,…

Young men and women who will say: “Lets go to that village and tell them that Jesus is no more in the grave… Even If we don’t have to come back alive… Let it be so…”

If you don’t have such calibre of members among your congregation, then, sir, with due respect, it’s a big shame! .. This end time agenda has no need of you and your kind!

A Muslim suicide bomber doesn’t need tithe and offering to carry out a bloody assignment, in defence of a powerless prophet Mohammed …
They don’t need adverts or media stunts..

But here, we have young men who are in the pulpit, being driven by tithe, offering and honorarium…. If there is no 5star hotel reservation, they will not honour the invitation to preach …

And yet, they are General Overseers…
Overseeing passionless men and women who are like them…

Where as, their mates in Islam has burnt their school certificates, refused juicy contracts, abandoned wonderful jobs and everyday they are sleeping in the bush and starving for months, receiving trainings, how to carry out terrorist attacks, all in defence of Mohammed…

And we are here looking for churches where they will use convoy to come and pick us up from the airport…
And you wonder why people feel like vomiting when they hear them calling you a voice in the land…

A voice because you gather people every Sunday, threatening them with their dead relatives… Turning them against their parents and everybody around them becomes a witch suspect…
Is that what made you a voice?

A voice because you went to a program and stole committed members from your host church and you came back and gave them positions in the choir, sowing different uniforms for them every Sunday…

None of them can quote any scripture…
They have not gone for evangelism for any day, after many years of following you…
All of them were members you stole and now you are using juju to keep them from running away…
And they are calling you a voice in the land! … What a ridicule! What a noise!

Brother, if this is the generation that will usher in a move of God in our days, then, those who have not forgotten what they saw in the church in the 80s and 90s must not keep quiet in a time like this…

The greatest hindrance of revival in our time is not Islam…
The pulpit in our time is the greatest enemy of the expected move of God in our days…

If not for the decline of truth on the pulpits in our time, long ago, we would have seen what we saw in the days of our fathers…
And now we are blaming Muslim fanatics, who are defending with their lives what they believe in…

When else are we going to see young men from our churches, after hearing our messages, getting so angry in the spirit that they make up their minds to convert 10 Muslims to Christianity every month month?
And the next place you will see them will be in camps or mountains, preparing, praying for Power?

But how can we hear such when the only thing we teach them is about how to be rich and how to suspect detect enemies?

I am tired of hearing testimonies of miracle jobs some of our ladies slept with company directors to get…
I am tired of seeing car dedications my brothers used fraudulent businesses to buy…
When are we going to start dedicating converted souls on our Sunday mornings?
Lord, where are all the men that saw what we saw in the days of our fathers?
This is not the time to keep quiet…
This is not the time to care about who likes or hates you…
If there is a time to beg for pulpit, soldier, it is not in a time like this!

No pulpit hosted John the Baptist…
They preached against him… That He was old fashioned… And that he was envying them who were running 10 times services…

That because he doesn’t get any like or comment on his Facebook wall, that he is jealous of them that have huge online followership…
That because he is not anointed and that is why nobody was hosting him in their churches…

But brother, when his time came and he began to roar from the wilderness, those demonic General Overseers who were using marine powers to run ministry knew that indeed, in every generation, God has a breed He is preparing …

Yes, they knew that “there was a man sent from God”…

Man of God, if you were sent from God, why are you allowing yourself to be influenced by men who were ‘sent from Bible schools’ ?

Some of the men you are competing with in ministry were ‘sent from demonic covens in some parts of Africa’ … If we came from God, let us look more for God… He will soon show up…

You are almost getting to the time when members of many ‘mega’ churches will be secretly and openly coming to you, to hear this gospel from your mouth… Because they would have gotten tired of fake testimonies that leaves them powerless and very vulnerable…

Men who have not bowed to baal are very few in our days…
Men who have not sold out their souls for mammon are rare to find now that we are here…
God depends on you for this end time work… Why are you bothered because someone somewhere is calling you names online? …

Churches are everywhere around us, yet, there is a spiritual famine in Africa…
The power of the gospel is suffering bankruptcy in our time…
This is not the same gospel the apostles preached…
Something has happened to the Word of God in our mouths…

We are only showing the form of godliness, but hell has hijacked the power thereof…
And in our carnality, we are celebrating strange Fires…
Polluted Fire!
Moribund Fire!

But brother, I know that God will never leave Africa this way!
If the pulpit has failed, then,, He will bypass us and go down to the pews…
And raise people for Himself…

If our pews have become so frozen, He will go outside… He will look for drunkards and prostitutes….
He will get hold of witches and wizards…
And those arm robbers on the highways,
He will Clean them up and fill them up with Himself and use them mightily in this end time…

Yes, if those who came out from Bible schools are now using their certificates to raise only funds, God will bypass them and use those who has not gone to Bible schools…

This is the most critical time since the world began…
Islam is preparing to take over nations,…
They are putting funds together which they will use to buy churches and pay their staff off…

Brother, in few years from now, if there is no genuine revival, many of our members today would have become Muslims…
You will see many pastors who will convert their churches into mosques, for a huge financial reward…

That time is not far…
Has it not even started?
When a pastor is collecting powers to grow his church from a Muslim native doctor, is that not handing over the Fire to the children of the bond woman?

The days we are in is terrible…
God knows and that is why He is raising an army that will stand to defend the gospel that was handed over to us, even if they have to lose everything for it…

That young man came back from the missions field, after a year, and later joined the Bible school… Became a pastor and God used him to win communities for Jesus…

Before my eyes, I saw God using him to sack evil spirits out from villages…
His name became a terror in that area, to the point that deities began to complain about how his presence in the community had rendered them powerless… Halaluya !

Those are the kind of testimonies we were hearing everyday in the days of our fathers that we want to be hearing again in our time…
But alas, here is Ichabod !

Imagine if every church in every community can boast of 10 of such members!
Imagine when many of our followers would have gotten broken enough, by God, that they don’t mind what they lose again for God’s sake…

Terrorists will no more be bombing our churches.. Because they would have known that already our churches are filled with people who are ready to die, anytime for the gospel …

You don’t have to waste your bomb on a man who is already dead!

But, why they will keep threatening to kill us is because they know that we love our cars and landed properties more than the CHRIST we say that died for us…

Prophet Mohammed was not killed on the Cross shamefully, yet, they can die for him publicly… What would have happened if their prophet Mohammed was crucified on the cross?

But where are the men and women who claims that Jesus died for them?

Oh Sister, it is time to take our Christian life to another level….
It is time to get ‘fanatical’ about this Kingdom thing…

Enough of the prayer topics of: “God give me this and do that for me!”
This weekend, take your friends to the next Street and preach the gospel…
Next week, continue with it…

Why are we ashamed to tell people about the Man that conquered the grave?
Why can’t we preach about the man that created the heaven and the earth?…

Mohammed did not do any single miracle, but his followers are dying for him…
He did not raise anybody from the dead…
He died and that was his end…
Yet, they can give everything to spread his belief…

How can we be ashamed of Jesus that spoke to the storm and their was peace?
He opened the blind eyes…
He interrupted funerals and raised the dead back to life…

Is He not enough to tell people about?
Did He not do enough to make you let everybody that knows you know that you are not ashamed of the gospel?

When will you be done with hiding from your friends when you want to speak in tongues, so that they will not laugh at you?
Brother, why are you ashamed of identifying with the Man who is the hope of the whole world?
As for me, I am done with religion, till I die..
I cannot stand Christianity by church sticker alone any more …
Jesus did not die for you to only be attending choir rehearsals and changing uniforms every Sunday….

I hope God is not looking at you from heaven now and regretting why He did not let those people that died of accident to replace you since you are useless to Him on earth…

Many in the hospital now, with few days to live are begging and crying, if God can give them a little more time, that they will preach this gospel under the rain and sun… And they mean it…

Brother, you that is healthy, what will God be saying about you when He sees that they are begging you to go to church?
The time is early enough to ask God for mercy and for Him to revive His walk in your life. ..

God is looking for people that will risk their lives for Him in our time…
Let it not be that He is preparing someone who is at the point of death in the hospital bed to come and replace you….
This is scary… But it is a serious matter!

Have you not played so much with the opportunities God has given you?
How much longer do we have to be in sin for grace to abound?

The Holy Spirit is speaking to you now…
He is reminding you of your distance from God…
Imagine if you had died in your sins yesterday morning…

You would have gone to hell, and stay there, from now till the next 2billion years… And yet, that will be just the beginning…

Sister, don’t be locked out of grace further… Don’t postpone any longer the hour of your salvation…

Right now, hearken to the voice of mercy …
And where you are sitting is good enough to kneel down and ask God for a revival … I am very sure that He will clean you up and give you a new….

Lord, let there be revival of true soul winning and genuine christian living In Jesus Mighty Name.

YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN!

YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN!
Jesus answered and said unto him: verily, verily I say unto you thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3
The greatest thing that can happen to a man at the end of his life is that he spends eternity with God. This hope deserves the greatest attention, dedication and pursuit of man “for what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul.” Mark 8:36. Many indeed desire, seek and hope to enter into heaven by their own means and to the best of their abilities. It is however not every attempt to enter into heaven by a man that will be rewarded. Jesus said in Luke 13; 24… strive to enter in at the straight gate, for many I say unto you will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. How then can a man enter into the kingdom of God?
In our opening text, Jesus said “verily, verily I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”. Beloved, you must be born again. This is an act where a man willingly and voluntarily submits his life to Jesus, confessing and forsaking his sins, and accepts Jesus as his Lord and personal saviour. This does not necessarily refer to water baptism, as an unrepentant sinner who is baptized only entered into the water as a sinner and came out as a wet sinner. Such a person cannot make it to heaven, if there is no genuine repentance, the acceptance of Jesus and the forsaking of sin to live a holy life, by the grace of God.
Jesus also said in john 14:6 “I am the way, the truth and the life; no man commeth to the father but by me “. Without Jesus, no man can ever see God, not even the morally righteous, for “…all our righteousness are as filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6) before God. Beloved, are you born again? Have you confessed your sins and accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and personal savior? You can be born again today by praying the following prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I come to you today.
God bless You ______________________________________________________________________________
